When a student is absent, a parent note or doctor excuse MUST be turned in within 5 days of the last absence date. No more than 5 parent notes can be accepted through the school year.
With the start of the 2018-2019 school year, all backpacks/book sacks have to be either clear or mesh.
All students are required to wear school uniforms which include khaki or navy blue bottom with, navy, white or gray polo/oxford shirts. All students are required to tuck in their shirts and wear black, brown or navy belts. Elastic waists are allowed for grades Pre-K-3rd. Jumpers, skirts, shorts, or skorts should not be shorter than 4 inches above the knee. Capris are acceptable, hip huggers, baggy or oversized clothes are not permitted. Tights or socks should be black, white, or navy.
Footwear should not be a safety hazard: Crocs, flip-flops, slides are not permitted. Students may wear sandals with a back strap. Boots are to be worn under the pants legs and pant legs must cover the top portion.
Hair must be of natural colors. Fluorescent and/or rainbow colors are not permitted. Afros are to measure from the scalp and not to exceed 2 inches. The length of a boy’s hair should not pass the top of the shirt collar and must be above the eyebrows.
